PostProduction

We are using the editing process to coherent meaning from collection of shots by first introducing the first scene which shows us the 2 cops that the audience will see and know from their perspective that they are "good guys" since in the next scene shows 2 robbers getting a call from an anonymous figure which signifies the audience that the 2 robbers are the bad guys since they are working for the "mastermind" or boss of this robbery based on the dark surroundings that is being held which shows an evil atmosphere from them as the technology we used during the process was iphone and or Samsung, nonetheless we learned from postproduction technologies that using capcut gave us a lot of opportunities and options as its a great source to our film also in addition to our equipment, we again did not use sources to guide us on our equipment but our own and prior knowledge for our equipment, though the titling in our genre followed conventions by making the background color to appear serious but also make the tone humorous with presenting the title for our film to show the genre, nevertheless the types of transitions we used and effects were; making the background and color to be black and white on some parts to signify the main points of the characters while the transitions were jump cuts to shift one scene to another so the film can be shown at a consistent and smooth pace since the sounds we needed to add were recordings or audio recordings to certain characters as it can help with telling the story as well as background music that the actors can't hear but the audience can to enhance the meaning since we did it by using a source which was CapCut that helped majority of the film to incorporate the things we needed for our film, though performing the color correction were done by using the options our iphone has when capturing a shot or recording as they feature a lot of tint in color or change in color which we used to point the atmosphere as well as adding a few filters to assist with it too but when editing the shots together I didn't notice any particular influence as far as im concerned, nonetheless some "diary" entries that were detailing the post-production process was discussing on what we should do after finishing our film and an example of this is here:

As you can see us discussing on how we would figure out what parts should be held when doing the post-production process and some difficulties along the way were some interruptions such as people walking or when outside nature messed some things for us like this one:
Here is where we couldn’t hold it together since the reflection clearly shows the person recording this scene which we found it funny as nothing can be perfect.

Production

We used Iphone during production since we found out that the camera's in these phones can be edited in many ways which gives us an advantage to be creative but no we did not consult to any sources but based on our own knowledge, nonetheless, we used some inspiration on some shots to our film such as this:

but some diary entries during our production were videos like these as well as pictures:

Besides that, some difficulties we had during production was finding certain areas to film from our script. For example, the plankton picture above was used in a dark room that we needed to find where not a lot of people were so we can make the perfect "evil meeting" and the video above was also hard to manage as we were going to film it in a classroom but we didn't find a empty classroom to film it in, so we instead used the hallway but some "A-ha" moments or realization moments is that we found some shortcuts around the school building to get to the area we need to film in faster, which allows us to save a lot of time from going one place to another and revisions that were made during production, was the introduction as originally we were going to show the robber's meeting first but then we instead showed the cops first since liked i explain before, we couldn't find a dark room so we resorted on introducing the cops first but finally the bloopers were these:

PreProduction

Out film will be shot in the school hallway and classroom because our film genre is Action/Comedy so it would include running or scenic scenes and the perfect way to film these shots is using a long path so we could film the running as the classroom will have the vault of the secret formula so the robbers will break in the room and steal the formula:

There will also be the 4 of us acting in our film because the script we made was a perfect way to distribute each of us on what roles we should get and as for scheduling and preparing our actors, we will practice our lines and when to do that specific action in each shot as we would have breaks to make sure we don't overwork our actors, though our film will look like a actual police chase when a crime has been done and feel as if incidents like these are always serious and shouldn't be messed with because in today's society, a lot of crimes has occurred which is why our film will demonstrate that causing crime isn't the way in life since we can achieve this by inserting the shots to make the tone similar to an actual police chase and the editing so we can shift one scene to another to ensure a smooth transition but

we will do a mix of in camera sounds and a separate audio recording by first getting an audio of an alarm so when the robbers grab the secret formula, the alarm will go off so notify the officers and the mix of in camera sounds would consist of sounds from resources to be interpreted in our film as well as the dialogue, nonetheless, our storyboard looks like this

The other thing to mention is that our shooting schedule for our film opening is to probably shoot for about 40-50 minute ish then take a 15-20 minute break and continue again until our instructor tell us that time is up for shooting but lastly, we will use technology such as phones, microphones maybe and or speakers if its needed.

ScriptWriting And Funding

 1. The script in my film will look almost similar to this:

But some films that are similar to mine are SpongeBob Movie, and Mall cop. They are typically financed by releasing merchandise, sponsorships and other organizations which comes from companies and viewers that enjoy the franchise. Out target audience is all ages, including those that enjoy comedy and action type films too. Production will be made using teamwork as everyone will have a part in our film as the distribution process will be made by using either DVD's or posting a teaser of our film. To market our film, we could release a trailer from the film so it could gain popularity and potentially have people liking it from either them hearing it from the internet, news or even billboards if possible. Companies that specializes in our film are companies like Warner Bros, Universal, Columbia Pictures, and DreamWork but we would most likely pick Warner Bros as they provide big setup's for production which would be beneficial to us. Producing our film will be in a big company since it can gain more attention to our film which could have potential to be successful. The choice of a production company can engage audience with a film as it depends if they liked films, specifically films of the same genre as ours which could vary how the audience will take in of our film. A filmmaker would convince a production company that there film is worth financing by seeing the comments and opinion the public made about it, or show the production company the script and details of the film which could further interest the production company into "buying" our film and pay us to produce the film based on the potential the film will have. Some distribution companies that specializes in our film are 20th Century Studios, Sony Pictures or Paramount Pictures but the distribution company that would match our film would either be 20th Century Studios or Sony Pictures. Lastly, our film will be exhibited in streaming services or DVD as it makes a way for the pubic to access our film if they are interest in watching our film or considering to watch it.

Introduction

The movie i am trying to make is an action/humorous film as the basic genre convections in the movie will include chasing, running, suspenseful but funny background music and characters that will be playing the good guys and the bad guys though, the opening sequences in other films of my genre are usually intense and forcing to the audience. The opening sequence reveal meaning and tone by not revealing so much because in opening sequences, the background music or non-diegetic noise will mostly or always will be up-bringing since the audience would hear this fast paced and intense music as well as showing the opening sequence itself to signify that the tone is serious but a little humorous. The amount of action that is shown in 2 minutes are represented by these, (Sources, Reddit or Google)

Besides that, the settings or locations of other films in my genre are usually produced in big cities or a high tech structure where it holds weapons and plans to figure out who is the bad guy or target they need to look for or aware of which is often shot in the middle or semi middle part of the movie. The intended audience for my film are people who enjoy a good laugh but also have scenery during the duration of the film and plot of my film which i will try to make them watch by introducing them a part of the plot of my film to get them noticed on what it is about (Partially) and then evoke some interest especially to those that enjoy scenery but also a good laugh that they do with other films they watched in the past. The titles in films of my genre are mostly exploded or forced onto the screen as if it was thrown to the audience since it signifies how persistent and fast paced these type of films are but for information i need to include in my title isnt much as i can use background noise while displaying the title a little violently to give the audience an idea of what this film will be about. Different social groups in my genre are usually represented by showing shots of a person and remain focused on a character or group for at least 10 minutes or so, to introduce the characters of the film to have the audience get the idea of what they do or what they are like while it does the same thing to other characters or groups of people so it can interest the plot but also the film itself to see how each group will be brought in the film.
